On December 17th, 2000, Steeples Restaurant opened in the heart of Shawnigan lake Village. Michael and Daphne Francis had grand visions of retaining the heritage of the building and the community that surrounds. Local craftsmen worked hard at renovating the Sylvan United Church that was an integral part of the community for almost 50 years.
